NICE Clinical Guideline 32 states: consider oral nutrition support to improve nutritional intake in those who are malnourished (or at risk) and who can swallow safely (based on high quality/A-grade evidence)
NICE Quality Standard 24 states: all care services should take responsibility for the identification of people at risk of malnutrition, provide nutritional support for everyone who needs it and take an integrated approach to the provision of services
